Work

Neusennow

Combining handweaving with found rusted metals and enamelled copper, these pieces explore the tension between construction and collapse, soft fibre held against hard, corroded material, each resisting and depending on the other.

The work extends into a collaborative project conducted on Cornish beaches with local participants, weaving directly into the landscape that shapes the practice. Using laser-cut looms alongside white wools,
rust-dyed fibres, and enamelled fragments, the project becomes a communal act of making: passing down craft skills that echo Cornwall's long history of labour, while situating the work in the coast it responds to.
